Zoella So Soft Lip Oil - Review

Image
H ello there! I'm confessing that as a new mum, lipstick is not my priority.. for one reason only: I kiss my baby all day long 😘 But even so, I know the importance of scrubbing and hydrating. So lately I've found myself looking for that perfect product to use that will make my lips look healthy, hydrated and soft. Now you will ask me: 'do you really think there is ONE product that does all that?' The answer is that I thought it didn't exist.. but I was wrong. And here is where I will introduce you to my new addiction : Zoella So Soft Lip Oil 💋 This beautifully designed product is part of the Splash Botanics range and it comes in a 8ml tube soft pink coloured and with a leaves sticker on the lid. The intriguing part of the design is the lip brush: so soft and with this particular shape (that lately is so common in lips beauty products). This oil has a very light pink colour (noted on the brush), but it doesn't leave any on the lips. It g...

Imperial Leather Foamburst Moisturising Body Wash - Review

Image
G ood day beautiful people! I've been shopping again and since I loved my latest shower mousse so much, I decided to try more from different brands. So this time I went for this Imperial Leather Foramburst with golden honey and almond milk. I found this product both at Boots and Superdrug and it costs around £3. The product comes in a 200ml nicely designed white bottle with some nice yellow flowers on the top part of it and the well known brand logo at the centre of the bottle.  Directions and more information about the product and its ingredients are as usual on the back of this bottle and we will discover together if it delivers what it says. I was surprised it doesn't say to shake the bottle well before use, but this product comes in a gel-like form so I guess it's not necessary. The first thing I noticed when spraying this product into my hand is this surprisingly rich gel/foam consistency, it's really soft and rich in skin conditioners...

Superdrug Foot Nourishing Sock Pack - Review

Image
H ello lovely people! Today I want to share with you my experience with this product I bought from Superdrug own brand: the Foot Nourishing Sock Pack with honey and almond. I have to confess I've never tried any sort of masks or sock packs for my feet before, but I only used lotions. This time, considering my feet needed some extra pick-me-up I bought this product and now I'll tell you my thoughts on it. The product comes in a sachet and contains 1 pair of socks. The front has some information like the duration of the application and some key ingredients it contains. More details about directions, caution advice and a complete list of ingredients are on the back. I read the directions before opening the product as often I found out that my intuition on how to use a product is not necessarily the best way or sometimes the product is messy and I feel that knowing in advance how to handle it can be a life-saver. The sweet smell of the honey and almond infused serum co...

Phil Smith - Coco Licious Coconut Dry Shampoo - Review

Image
H ello there! Now isn't summer the best season? Well, sometimes my hair doesn't agree with me on this and often I feel I don't know what to do to make it look fresh and healthy. So I decided to buy this Phil Smith Coco Licious Coconut dry shampoo and here I want to share with you my thoughts. I found this product in Sainsbury's supermarket for a reasonable price (£ 2,50 for a 150ml bottle) and it's suitable for all hair types. The packaging looks very fresh and appealing, with this white and golden colours and I admit that's one of the reasons I chose this one instead of other brands/products. I've never tried a dry shampoo before this one, so I was quite doubtful that the product would work at first, so I followed the instructions written on the back of the bottle to make sure I could get a promising result. Directions for use are very straight forward: - shake well the bottle before use - spray at 20cm distance - massage with fingertips ...

Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub - Review

Image
Hey there! Today I would like to talk about this Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub . First of all, I have to say that the reason I bought this product is because at the time my skin presented some little spots here and there, maybe due to hormone changing after pregnancy and with breastfeeding and probably because I wasn't looking after my skin as frequently. We all have those moments and sometimes it was not feeling as smooth as I would have liked it to be. I've never tried this product before, so I decided to give it a go, specially because it's a daily scrub. This 150ml tube has a top part coloured in orange and a turquoise with the name of the product, while  the brand logo is towards the bottom where the tube is clear and you can see the product inside. The back of the tube has more information about the ingredients as well as the direction to use the product, but I will specify all this below. As I've been using the scrub for quite ...

What To Do When Things Don't Go As Planned

Image
G ood day lovely people! Today I wanted to share with you a bit of advice, based on recent experience. As you might know, me and my little family went on holiday to Italy, to visit family and to relax. Me and my husband planned a small road trip to some close-by towns just to do some sightseeing, take nice pictures, eat good food and have a good time. So we pack all necessary things in the morning, we take baby with us and we go... And after 30 minutes of baby crying we are on our way back... sadly. Both me and my husband were quite sad and disappointed.. We really wanted to go on this road trip, but of course baby comes first (she is only 3 and 1/2 months and is our first baby... so we are still trying to understand what to do sometimes). We soon realised that it was not yet the right time for us to leave for an adventure like this, specially because it was extremely hot that day. The first few minutes of our journey back home we both were silent and a b...

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula - Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks Review

Image
H ey girls! Today I want to talk about this issue that many of us have: stretch marks. These stretch lines appear when our body changes in a short period of time (both gaining weight or losing weight). To prevent that our skin needs to be given some extra care and the right products. This is why I would like to share my experience with Palmer's lotion for stretch marks. I bought this product to use specifically during my pregnancy. First of all note that all I've used before buying this specific product to fight these marks on my body was some sweet almond oil every now and then and I didn't have many lines visible on my body. With my pregnancy advancing, I thought that I didn't want to be caught unprepared and I bought this ally not only to reduce the stretch marks I had, bus specially to prevent more to appear. This product has a white plastic packaging with a dispenser, which makes it easier to get the product out. It has a good amount of informatio...
