Phil Smith - Coco Licious Coconut Dry Shampoo - Review

Hello there!

Now isn't summer the best season?

Well, sometimes my hair doesn't agree with me on this and often I feel I don't know what to do to make it look fresh and healthy.

So I decided to buy this Phil Smith Coco Licious Coconut dry shampoo and here I want to share with you my thoughts.

I found this product in Sainsbury's supermarket for a reasonable price (£ 2,50 for a 150ml bottle) and it's suitable for all hair types.

The packaging looks very fresh and appealing, with this white and golden colours and I admit that's one of the reasons I chose this one instead of other brands/products.

I've never tried a dry shampoo before this one, so I was quite doubtful that the product would work at first, so I followed the instructions written on the back of the bottle to make sure I could get a promising result.

Directions for use are very straight forward:
- shake well the bottle before use
- spray at 20cm distance
- massage with fingertips
-  style as usual

The coconut scent in this product really comes through well and it smells and feels very fresh as soon as I spray it onto my hair.

I tend to direct the spray towards my roots mainly and then massage it with my fingertips.

I am not sure if all dry shampoos are the same, but it seems that the product leaves a white-like shade on my hair but goes away after massaging/brushing.
My suggestion with this is to make sure that you spray at an appropriate distance so that this doesn't happen too much.

I usually don't style my hair, so I can say that massaging was my last step.

My hair were definitely feeling and looking fresh, so it's an ideal product to use if you don't want to wash your hair every day, but the heat and sweat makes you need that fresh touch.

This product delivers a fresh feeling that lasts for a long time, considering I apply it in the morning, usually my hair feels clean and fresh until late afternoon (if I'm not going for a run or sweating too much of course).

I can recommend this product but, being the only dry shampoo I tried, I would love to try more brands and give you feedback on those too.

Have you tried a dry shampoo before? What's your experience with it?
