Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub - Review

Today I would like to talk about this Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub.

First of all, I have to say that the reason I bought this product is because at the time my skin presented some little spots here and there, maybe due to hormone changing after pregnancy and with breastfeeding and probably because I wasn't looking after my skin as frequently. We all have those moments and sometimes it was not feeling as smooth as I would have liked it to be.

I've never tried this product before, so I decided to give it a go, specially because it's a daily scrub.

This 150ml tube has a top part coloured in orange and a turquoise with the name of the product, while  the brand logo is towards the bottom where the tube is clear and you can see the product inside.

The back of the tube has more information about the ingredients as well as the direction to use the product, but I will specify all this below.

As I've been using the scrub for quite a while, i can now talk about my impressions.

Using this scrub is quite pleasant as it has a light creamy consistency with some microbeads in it. To my advice these are not too many, but rightly so, as it's considered a daily scrub and it shouldn't be too aggressive.

These microbeads are the ones that will help you clean deeply your skin, eliminating oil and dirt as well as dead skin cells.

I would suggest to take a break and use a normal face wash for a couple of days every now and then, to give your skin some time off (this works for my skin type at least, being my skin very sensitive).

The key ingredients of this Neutrogena Spot Stress Control scrub are green tea and cucumber extracts, and they contribute to give to it a fresh smell and sensation to your skin as well as soothing and cleaning your skin without over-drying it.

The Neutrogena Microclear technology should help you unclog the pores and clean up spots.

The directions suggested at the back of the tube are to use the product in the morning and evening, massaging your skin with the product and rinse thoroughly.

To my advice and because of the sensitivity of my skin, I decided to only use it in the mornings, massaging and rinsing as directed.

I can say that for me it worked more as dead skin cells remover, which helped make my skin feel smoother and more clear.

I can't say that my little spots went away straight away, but surely it helped prevent more from appearing as pores were kept clean and clear.

The price for this 150ml tube is of £3.69, which to my advice is a very reasonable price.

Unfortunately this product didn't steal my heart away, I was expecting a 'wow experience' which didn't happen, but this product works as well as other daily scrub so probably I will buy it again if on offer.

In the meantime I will try other scrubs to compare it to :)
