Anatomicals Memorably Good Daily Moisturiser - Review
October is here ...
... and with the approaching winter season we start thinking about protecting our skin from the cold and make sure it's well hydrated.
Our morning and evening routine has to change slightly to achieve those skin goals we want to achieve or maintain (if we finally got there over the summer).
So this is definitely the best time to look for a rich moisturiser!
Lately I've had the opportunity to try Anatomicals Memorably Good Daily Moisturiser - which was sent to me kindly by the company (thank you 😊) - and here I will share with you my experience and thoughts.
The packaging:
the blue box contains a super cute blue tube with a yellow lid, the design is quite original and I think it stands out among other brands.
It contains 50ml of products and there is a pump to get the product out, which I love!
On the tube (as well as the box) you can find all information regarding ingredients, directions for use (will talk about later on) and a funny introduction to the product that is Anatomicals' signature on all their packaging.
How to use it:
like all moisturisers you'll need to apply the product on cleansed face morning and evening.
Honestly I've used the cream only in the mornings as I have a different routine for nights.
I usually pump twice and the product needs to me massaged into the skin in small circles.
Details:
I find the consistency of this moisturiser quite rich and creamy and because of this I use a small amount each morning and give it plenty of time for it to get absorbed (so to be clear, I don't apply make up straight away).
The smell is not particularly my favourite, but once absorbed I didn't think this was a 'problem'.
As I said, I wait a little bit (like 20/30 mins usually) before applying any make up - this is because at the moment I have plenty of time between my morning skincare routine and the time I have to get ready to go out.
My everyday make-up's performance was not affected by this moisturiser, which I find very important, but instead this lotion worked perfectly as a base for my usual concealer and powder.
Extras:
it is important to notice that this Anatomicals daily moisturiser contains co-enzyme Q10 which firms, renews and regenerate your skin - so is perfect if you are thinking about fighting those first time signs.
Also extremely important is the fact that this moisturiser has an SPF15!
We surely don't want to forget the importance of protecting our skin from sun damage in winter times (just because it's cold doesn't mean we don't need sun protection), so this is definitely a bonus.
Personal Tips:
I think I said it plenty of times that everyone is different and we will have different outcome when it comes to skincare, so this section is purely based on how my skin reacted and what I chose to do personally.
As I found this moisturiser quite rich, I started to alternate it with another daily moisturiser or facial oil, this is a totally personal choice and I don't think it affected the results in any way.
If you suffer from break outs, I suggest you try the same at first to see how your skin respond to it :)
Shopping:
last but not least, know that you can find this product on Amazon or ASOS and the price vary from £6 to £10.
You can also find Anatomicals products in Boots, Superdrug and Top Shop.
I hope this review was helpful and gave you some helpful insight about this product.
Most of all - start thinking about extra hydration for winter times 🌨
Anatomicals Memorably Good Daily Moisturiser overall rating: ★★★★☆
