Garnier Skin Active Nourishing Gel Wash w/ Honey Flower - Review

Hello beautiful people!

As you may know, I am on the constant research for the perfect face wash.

Yes, I tried a few in the past that I was very happy with, but I have to admit that after a while I get bored of using the same product every day and also my skin kind of stop to respond to their benefits as well, so I like to alternate and try some new product.

So, here I am finding myself buying new face washes every now and then and I have to admit that Garnier is one of my favourite brands.

Since they released the Skin Active range I've been very curious and tried already a few of this range.

This time I want to share my experience with the Nourishing Botanical Gel Wash with Honey Flower.

This product is designed for 'dry to very dry skin', comes in a 200ml and costs around £3,50 (but it's easy to find these on offer 😏).

What I love about the packaging is that this dispenser is clear so you can see perfectly the product inside (and know when is about to finish).

The information on the front are not many, but the back displays all you need to know about it, from ingredients, to directions.

I admit I am really grateful to Garnier for being one of the few companies that explains clearly what the ingredients contained are (see photo).

Yes, most products have the ingredient lists, but to be honest I don't know the meaning of all those latin words, so what the company did here is pretty clever and customer friendly (well done Garnier).

To be noted is that 96% of the ingredients contained in this Skin Active product are of natural origin and the remain 4% are ingredients used for the preservation of this gel wash.

So let's talk now about the performance of this gel wash and let me start with its smell and consistency.

This product surprised me with this really sweet scent and a great gel texture that I personally love.
I love to use this gel wash as you only need to pump once to have enough product for a great experience.

It forms enough foam, not excessive, and is gentle to the skin.

To my surprise I realised that this gel wash didn't only clean my face skin and give it a fresh feeling but is also great in removing make up, including mascara if you work on it a bit more!

Only downside I experienced on myself is that it left my face skin feeling slightly tight and that's why I recommend you use a moisturiser straight after using this product.

This was really a sad ending as I was really expecting a greater after

use effect since this product is designed for dry to very dry skin, but again, this might be something that doesn't apply to everyone since every single person is different in skin and reaction to products.

This being said, I admit that it's hard for me to give an overall score, but I have to.

What about you? ave you tried this product yourself? How did you find it?
Please let me know your experience and I'm open to suggestion if you have any 😉
